Hasn't it gone the other way? Squirtable Marmite is an absolute abomination.

I've never heard of squirtable Marmite! The last jar I had of the normal stuff was awful. Instead of spreading it tore the bread up. I threw it away still half full.

All you marmite lovers including @Drago need to move to Burton on trent you can smell it nearly all the time! And if you like coffee and the airs a bit damp and the wind is in the right direction you can smell Nescafe coffee from Hatton a few miles away...

The jars? Keep your manly nails and screws and bits left over from things you've 'fixed'

The first thing I thought of was using them to make your own candles. Then I thought your probably not into that. Then I thought if you love marmite you could mix some in with the wax and get a marmite scented candle.

Of course it is. The real reason for the flat bit is to give you somewhere to stick an identifying label when you have put screws/nuts/washers etc. in it!

I have to try the squeezy version now, just to see if its as bad as some are saying.
