Out tonight to look at the meteor shower. Thinking of taking my bike but realised its getting darker earlier now. Best investigate new lights. My gf just bought a set from ASDA for a tenner & they look OK (although a bit bulky) any suggestions ? Need one with long lasting battery, small, secure and not too expensive ?

Ahh, a lights thread. Feels about right, I was in my legwarmers this morning plus I saw a hot-air balloon. Autumn's coming.

Don't know about leg warmers, but 3/4's and a Jacket.

Check out http://www.torchythebatteryboy.com/ He has an eBay site and I have bought batteries, chargers, etc. Genuine expert who really knows his stuff and only sells good value kit. This is really the best site I have seen anywhere for cycle light tests & knowledge.

Reading the review on the Cree it says 2.5hrs on full beam , do you get that and what sort of time do you get on Medium

Mine gives just over an hour on the lowest setting.
