Stunning bikes, you do a stunning job with them . I am still regretting not being able to go though buying the one you had for sale last year ( I should have bought it for myself 😀) .
You will definitely have no problem selling them. They are a bargain considering all the work you put into them.

If you are still after one my black M3L will be up for sale soon, I’ve decided to just keep the green S6L

Cheers , I will keep my eyes open and check my finances 😀 . Unfortunately I think my aim to change the class of boat I race might use up my disposable income for a while.

Treated myself to a new folder, a Tiger Metro, purchased locally

Been riding it this past week or so, and getting it dialed in. Impressed by the component spec, much better than other entry level folders.

This will be my new bike to chuck in the car when we go off traveling. The other bike I've been using is a vintage Stowaway, served me well, but I separate it into two halves to fit in the boot. Doable, but not ideal. May be able to bring two bikes in the car now, but fair to say Mrs Crank is not a keen cyclist.

I've since added quick release pedals and a more comfortable seat, and may replace the grip shifter with a thumb shifter. As with most new bikes I think, the contact point parts are merely place holders, usually being replaced to better suit.

Just needs a Bianchi sticker!

Question for Brommie aficionados, if I may. My new folder has a front mount similar to a B, so that you can attach a rack or bag. I might experiment along those lines, but will most likely have to reposition the cables behind the handlebars to give room to play up front. B's have the levers directly below the bars, and for me I feel comfortable with them at 45 degrees. Is this something that you get used to?

You just get used to them in that position

I’ve got a Klickfix to Brompton bag adapter on my Dahon Mu, no cable adjustment was needed (and the Dahon has particularly long flappy cables!). All my Brompton bags fit fine. I think I got mine from London Cycleworks (on Etsy).

PS I moved from the flat bars on my Brompton S6L to the Joseph Kurosac risers and they gave me room to move the brake levers to a more conventional position without affecting the fold

I see what you mean Gunky, more than a passing resemblance

That Bianchi is very low spec with freewheel and cheap as chips Tourney derailleur. It makes you wonder if a genuine Bianchi as many fake brand folders are sold in Asia often coming from Fuji-ta the biggest folding bike manufacturer in the world (by volume). However I know they sold low end mountain bikes in Italy with their branding but for other markets they keep to more premium bike imports from Asia.

Yep, tons of fake stuff round here for sure. My new folder cost around £86 delivered, so no big outlay, pretty sure it will satisfy my low expectations as a travel bike. Might even put a sticker on it - Cranky Bianchi

Doesn't look any worse than the Bianchi and if high tensile steel could be stronger and last longer. Aluminium folders tend to fatigue quicker around the main hinge.

Here in the UK Argos have £100 off their basic fuji-ta folding bike. Looks ok spec for entry level.

£150 seems a nice low entry point and if there is anything major wrong with it easy to take it back.

Nice bargain there, but agree with what you said about frame material, steel for me. Already had an aly framed folder snap at the hinge, so very wary now. Had a lucky escape, but get the collywobbles just thinking about it. New one is high tensile, happy with that.
