This old girl got hauled out of hibernation for a damp underfoot ride this morning still goes well .

I was contacted earlier in the week by an owner of a mixte R.E.W

Been wondering about trying some 700c wheels for quite awhile on this machine.

Finally got around to it earlier in the week , so sorted out a set of winter wheels and gave the hubs a service .

Just enough drop on the front brake caliper.

Just waiting for the gatorskins to arrive.

I'd be tempted to stick a screwdriver in the caliper and "toe in" the blocks a bit first

Well I finally managed to get a 50 mile ride in in this fine machine this morning .

Finally got around to fitting matching tyre's , new bar tape and new brake cables last night ready for some miles.

Next job is new black hoods .

It's quite clean actually so not due a refurb yet .
Yes nice to ride and the fact that it was made by one of the UK top frame builders help , but thank you
