How the hell do you use the hoods on that thing?
Yup, exactly as i thought. All sorts of weird wrist angles going on there. There's a good pic on this article:

Also I believe @JohnClimber has a set on his latest build, he will have first hand (ahem) experience.

I rode my first competitive race on them this weekend at the same Battle on the Beach that these elite racers won, I'm just a mere mortal rider but this the bars and bike really helped me into 120th out of 600 racers and 400+ lycra clad racers wanting a good place. so I'm happy with 120th being on the wrong side of 47.
My event blog is here http://johnclimber.com/2015/03/23/its-all-about-the-bike/
The bar's look like this
Most of the time I ride on the hoods and if needed all 4 fingers can be used to brake, on the drops they are so comfy especially with the flat section below the hoods pointing down at around 45 degree.
And all this comfort and aerodynamics for under £40 from your local bike shop (who deal with ISON) http://www.ison-distribution.com/english/product.php?part=HBGED44K
10/10 from me

What the fork is that. A Lauf carbon with glass fibre springs.
