Problem I have found is sizing. In muddy fox have shorts and trousers same size but fit differently. With decathlons btwinn kit it fits, but I have sized up and the silicon straps keep riding up. Fancied Adidas kit as they are who I usually wear for running/ gym, but bar last years sky kit it's above what im looking to pay

Hows it not the same
Because it's obvious some person drinking in a pub, is not at that moment partaking of any sport.

OK then allow me to try again and refine my analogy...

If anyone seriously thinks you are a pro-cyclist from what you wear, then they must think that fat bloke in the football shirt having a kickabout in the park is really David Beckham.

I saw this last night and can't stop thinking about it. I'm already thinking of stopping having friends/socialising purely so I can justify wearing this ostentatious number

Used to be a combination jersey in the Tour de France and Giro, wish they would bring it back!
Think LeMond is wearing it here

It's next on my shopping list, IMHO the coolest team Jersey to date.

This kind of post makes me laugh.

Its just a cycling shirt, why read so much into it. I dont think anyone really believes Joe Bloggs trundling down the road at 15mph on a saturday morning is member of an elite pro cycling team. If another cyclist want to judge you because have a team kit on or because of the bike your riding. It's them he need looking at and not you.

Wear what you find comfortable and don't worry about what other people think.

One of the things about team kit is that it goes out of date.......

That means you can buy quality kit for a fraction of the cost if you buy last year's kit

This is brilliant for beginners and those on a tight budget

- to quote Velominati
  1. Rule #16
  2. // Respect the jersey.
  3. Championship and race leader jerseys must only be worn if you’ve won the championship or led the race.

  4. Rule #17
// Team kit is for members of the team.
Wearing Pro team kit is also questionable if you’re not paid to wear it. If you must fly the colors of Pro teams, all garments should match perfectly, i.e no Mapei jersey with Kelme shorts and Telekom socks
Velominati is a great site. My cycling gang regularly wag fingers at Rule # 5...

This is a cycling forum. If there wasn't someone offended at non-pros wearing a pro kit, a discussion on leg shaving,a what tyre thread or a ride/weather thread where Rule5 is quoted 10times..

There would be nowhere to post

I find that XXL jerseys in pink or orange do not sell well, same goes for black shorts with yellow stitching (Skins). According to abloominnazi this makes you look gay but these are the items found in sales at a good price. I am not sure if other riders think I am gay or a cheapskate but I don't really care.
