I never really got The Clash. I mean, I knew loads of people liked them and rated them but I couldn't see it myself. I gave Give 'em Enough Rope away because I doubt I would have listened to it again after the first couple of times. I also heard the reverence with which they were spoken of; blending reggae and punk, the sounds of the street in west London... again, it by-passed me. It doesn't make them a bad band, just not my thing. I preferred Jilted John :sad:

You're quite right.

The first album was IMO just a collection of bad tempered nursery rhymes yelled by what sounded suspiciously like spoilt brats.
