You need to reconsider this, very Caerphilly.

We've got Stinking Bishop and Époisses de Bourgogne for tomorrow. They have to be kept in the garden.
Stinking Bishop is one I will not eat. If you've smelt retained afterbirth on cattle, you'll know why.

Otherwise, I eat loads of cheese in France, nearly always bring some back, and then waste it. No idea why I lose my appetite for it in Devon. I think my three favourites are Reblochon, Blue d'Auvergne, and La Bournette. Yum.

I don't much like any of it, except a thin scraping in a BLT sarnie

That was a big step for me! I'm very much a "I know what I like and I'll stick with it thank you very much" type of bloke. I won't try anything new.

Cheese and fish eggs? Do behave! xx(

I'll take the wine option though..

it actually works well .... you drizzle olive oil on the bread, dip it in some taramasalada, have a bite then have an olive and an anchovie and some feta....a while later, a sip of good red wine

in summer, Feta cheese served with ripe sweet ice cold watermellon goes well

I hated cheese with a vengeance until I was I my late 20s then kinda got to like it. But a conneseur I'm not...although at a 1940s weekend this summer I tried some soft cheddar, IIRC it was circa £15 for a modest size piece...
But the taste :rolleyes::eek:...oh my God, it just melted in the mouth, slightly salty, creamy...just gorgeous.
That's what you need...

Long as it's REAL Cheddar - not this foreign stuff you can get! With a glass or 3 of real cider, not the poncy flavoured ones
