Is my bike dead?

I'm fine now but had a huge lump on me noggin! The meds helped a lot. To be honest I'm really pi**ed off as I had planned to commute through the winter and that was the first morning in my winter gear.

The bike is 13 years old, so owes me nothing. Whilst I do have a Tacx trainer and would have to take a large 'persuader' to the frame in order to be able to get a front wheel on it

I have a solicitor on the case and once I find out if I can keep my bike I'll probably get another steel frame and build it up using some of the parts. So any recommendations for a steel frame?

Lots of nice stuff out there, off the peg and otherwise.

I think Condor do the Fratello as a frame + fork - would be a good basis for a quick commuter.
