Still on the cards @Brandane ?
I'm afraid I'm out!
Got an SOS call from work yesterday, so to cut a very long story short....
Instead of a week off in the Ayrshire sun, I am now sitting on the Thurso to Kirkwall ferry, heading to Orkney to relieve a driver who has been a very naughty boy!
Will be on Orkney until Saturday then bringing bus back to Livingston.
Exterior house painting and short cycling trips suspended!

Mr. @Fubar you might be interested to know that I am no longer taking part in the Ullapool Sportive. Fancy some company on that audax of yours? ;)
*opens Wiggle, searches for SPD sandals and knee high white socks*

Feel free! Though you may find my sedate pace, frequent stopping to check directions/maps/gps and penchant for meat paste sandwiches not to your liking - but hey, I'm used to following you to the middle of nowhere then being Royaly dropped...

Is that near Callendar?

Aye just right a bit on the map :okay:.

On the big audax note, @Fubar I notice you are passing near chez shoogly, I could ride with supplies, company or a windshield up the granites if you like.

He was referring to my rather rushed (and poor) spelling attempts.

On the big audax note, @Fubar I notice you are passing near chez shoogly, I could ride with supplies, company or a windshield up the granites if you like.

Not sure I like how this is developing into an event, the likes of which appear to need to the full support of CC Ecosse to get me through - Audux UK will be scratching their beards and frowning into their real ales, slowly shaking their heads.

Cake would be nice though.

What flavour? Im planning on going out that way anyways, a couple of wee singletracks need explored, so could drop off cake and bomb off to the woods:okay:

On an 200k Audax? Honestly you could bring me the bits of @Col5632's skull from the back of that Royal Mail truck and I'd probably give them a chew.

Where does pass you?? You don't have to be too specific if Chez Shoogly is a secret bunker with it's own underground MTB trails.

I'm in Newtongrange, about 5/6 miles away from the b7007 where you will climb the granites. North Middleton is the village nearby, don't know your exact route but could meet you there or there about.
