Haven't been on the bike since the night ride. Went on holiday the following weekend. My Dad passed away whilst we were abroad so by the time we got home and sorted things out I didn't have time for a pedal.

Round Strathaven 50 soon so need to get the miles in!

Who's all doing it apart from me and @Louch ?
Sorry to hear that, I believe @GBC has signed up today too

Sorry to hear about your Dad, GF.. Hope you and the family are doing as well as can be expected, and that you manage to find some time to get more miles on the new toy soon.

Have to say I am reluctant to commit to ANY rides more than about 2 days in advance with the way the weather has been so far this "summer"; but will keep an eye on things for the RS50..

Looks like a day for finding a north east bound ride and bag a few Strava PB's . Scotrail can do the hard work.

Edit .... Done.
Did you get lost in Eaglesham?

I think I might have the most pathetic excuse ever.

Off for summer but go back to work on Monday 17th - probably need to be getting organised for the week on that Sunday in particular. Worried I might be knackered when it is usually quite a tough weak.

I feel ashamed writing that.

First week back is just wrapping jotters etc. it's a nice wee route, one tough bump and was windy the year I did it. 3 food stops rammed with cakes and warm sausage Rolls are perfect for a more relaxed ride

Sounds good @Louch, I really only do 'relaxed' these days:-)
