Good evening everyone, been on here for a week or two now. Just got the bike to improve my fitness and shift a bit off the belly. Only two ride outs so far, the latest being yesterday where me an ma pal Richie did a lap of Loch Leven, brilliant route clockwise with only one downside being the fierce headwind on the final 3rd. Ah hope ah can bump into some of you guys here in Fife.

It's a route I do every so often, East side of the loch roads are in terrible state though

Yeah by a fair way - didn't catch his name but apparently he won the Scottish Champs a couple of weeks back. He just never let up!

Steven Lawley is his name and as Fubar said he won the Scottish Champs last weekend. I have seen him disappear up the road in front of me and others on several occasions

Cheers! You don't find out much when Marshalling, you just see them flying round and round - he broke early in the race and just kept the gap, never seemed to tire or flag in any way. Impressive!

It's a good loop, fairly flat but with a couple of sharp little lumps - but you always get a headwind at some point and as @Col5632 says some of the road surface is shocking. Good for the bingo wings though!

He's a decent guy. Stays fairly local to me so see him out on his bike quite often. Sometimes has someone on a scooter motor pacing him
