The advantage of being the Ride Organiser, @Pat "5mph" is that you get to name the date and time when it suits you to do the ride :bicycle:, then you invite others along. This saves 15+ pages of trying to suit everyone, with the added advantage of you knowing the route, while others do not , thus they have to stop at each junction to ask you which way to go next. :okay:

Making a few minor tweaks to a 'standard' ride maintains the mystery and lowers the pace to the 'proper' pace of a CC Ecosse Forum Ride.

Guys and girls, I was thinking today .... I would love to do the Perth ride again!
Obviously, because I'm so slow, I cannot be the ride organizer/leader ... sooo ... sometime in June/July would be lovely, I think
Remember @Fubar, when you got lost, phoned me to ask for directions, like I'd ever been there before or something, I was riding on my own well behind following the Garmin, had to stop a random cyclist to tell you where I was
Great fun that ride!
It's quite possible to organise a ride, then lead from the back so to speak. I did it on the 3 ferries ride last year as I watched the majority of riders disappear into the distance! Granted; it is hard to get lost on that particular route. Just take the bull by the horns and do it; you know you want to :okay:.

Passed our very own @Col5632 tonight - good to see you mate! Sorry I didn't stop, had struggled up from Kelty into the headwind and wasn't about to turn back!

No worries Mark :okay: Good to see you too

Here is the VIDEO

A certain Haribo-dispensing company messed up my order which now won't arrive until tomorrow, by which point I'll be in the farthest flung reaches.
Doubly glad I didn't splurge on expensive climbing wheels, since they wouldn't have arrived in time to help with the big climb. Will have to put up with wearing somewhat tatty clothes (hopefully these don't have a window into the soul), and will have to do some jiggery pokery with tyres as my rear Conti GP4000 is completely worn out:boxing:

Still, weather forecast: http://forecast.io/#/f/57.4350,-5.8150/1429311600 so not all negative ^_^
