Cleaned bike today, dirty de-greaser dripped on carpet, vanish got most of it off carpet. Looking at weather for tomorrows sportive and lacking motivation to get bike dirty again whilst cycling in winter kit again on last day of my holidays. Decisions ......

Very windy shakedown ride today. My old Ayrshire commute plus a side trip to Troon.

Nice to revisit some old stomping grounds. Not so nice to have hailstones driven into you by the wind on Fenwick Moor though...

Fully decided I'm not doing tomorrow, will do route another day when it's not 3c and 18mph winds at the bottom of the climbs . Crabbies ginger beer and the masters for me tonight

Gah... recurring nerve pain in my neck meant I got practically no sleep last night, so took the bike on the train to my folk's today. Partly tiredness and also couldn't turn to do shoulder checks It's eased a bit today, so hopefully can get a few miles in tomorrow as long as it's not 'too'
