What I really want is wheels that weigh nothing and provide infinite stiffness while smoothing out poor road surfaces. And since they weigh nothing they shouldn't cost anything.

Snap, I'll settle for wheels that don't have 3 loose spokes at all times though

Shame it's too short to log VAM, because that's how I pace myself on climbs these days.

Meant to say if anyone is in the vicinity of the Dunfermline area a week on Saturday (18 April) there is a Road Race starting from Townhill Community Centre at 1:30pm - the route goes up past the bus museum, round by the Gask Toll, along to Redcraigs (at the bottom of Knockhill) then back towards Dunfermline. If the wind is blowing it's a pretty brutal course, but there are plenty of vantage points to get up close to the action!

I'll be driving the First Aid car at the back so will see nowt, so give me a wave if you're there!

No I think it is the road climb which, TBH is easier than the path.

Scottish coast to coast ride done over easter weekend. If you're having trouble getting to sleep, here's a wee trip report.

The road is a bump, the path is evil as u just start building speed up then it's a sharp left into it, and I had to avoid teenagers.
