I think two winters have killed my wheels, won't be using the road bike in the winter again

Nice wheels like that shouldn't be out on winter roads... ;)

I rather like the basic Fulcrum Racing 7's tbh. tad more, but wonderfully stiff wheels that have stood up to everything I can throw at them and are still perfectly true!

the new rs010 are on intro offer at the moment

and ribble do cashback through quidco as well.

If you go for Shimano check whether they are compatible with your chainset - as far as I know (and I'm no expert!) you can't put a Campag wheel on a Shimano chainset or vice-versa - could just be a different cassette though.
you can put a shimano chainset on campag wheels. that's what I have, you just need a the campag wheels to be with a shimano hub which is usually an option you select when you buy them.

Cowie brae is about only lump I can do on a short run  route jamie has planned tomorrow has some small bumps, no real hills etc.... Planning going back towards Cleish and dunning Friday, Saturday off then dukes pass on Sundays sportive.

As much as I love my flat, I miss clackmannanshire for its bumps.
Small bumps yes and one has a 15% ramp

I was looking at Fulcrums before I read this post. I'm not one to believe in predestination but...

What I really want is wheels that weigh nothing and provide infinite stiffness while smoothing out poor road surfaces. And since they weigh nothing they shouldn't cost anything.
