Hope this is the right section to post this.......I cant see any other thread so....apologies if it has been posted elsewhere.
BBC 2 20:00 tonight.
I assume its the Brompton factory....they make 150 bikes per day.
We watched the 2 previous episodes (crisps & baked beans) and I kid you not....they were nind blowing.

I got bored. Probably the most interesting thing was the frames making a 300 mile round-trip to Wales to be powder coated. You'd have thought they could have found somewhere nearer.

Ill watch it on catch up to see if the factory is as medieval as the bike factory where I worked as a student.

Planning to watch it, just don't know if I can cope with Greg Wallace for an hour, without hitting something!!!

yes I didn't last night just because of him and his odious to me persona but feel i should really just to see.

and I'm intrigued by the notion of organs of matrimonial necessity mentioned on the other thread on this show.

That was my old mate Douggie Pinkerton. He usually pops up on most programmes involving old bikes.:okay:

I know Doug - he's repaired a few frames for me ... didn't recognise him to start with - usually wears a T-shirt and jeans! He's carrying on the fascination with old bikes that his father, John, had eons ago.

Doug's late brother, Dave, used to passenger for me occasionally when I raced F 2 sidecars.
We did the Ulster Grand Prix together in the late '90s.

Interesting. The presenter was a bit of a tit. The female blonde presenter who kept just repeating what the interviewee said was annoying too. I like the red haired woman off the Edwardian Farm tho.

They should have nipped up to Nelson to visit Carradice.
