Am sitting by the fire in the company of my cat and working on some writing. More specifically, navigating my introverted main character through a party scene.
Tell us more, sounds interesting.

I think of it as only being early evening!

In winter I effectively hibernate so I go out of sync with the outside world.

I usually potter about on the computer until about 02:00 and then put the TV on. I watch that until 03:00-04:00 then go to bed and tackle a cryptic crossword and play a few puzzle games before going to sleep at 04:00-05:00.

If I don't have to get up for anything then I would wake up at 10:00-11:00.

I don't have a job to worry about at my age (69) and nobody in my life to get up to spend time with so until we have long sunny days to tempt me out on multi-hour scenic bike rides this is my routine.

What's your excuse?
Kids and family obligations.

I used to be a night owl but after sorting the noises in my head, I started actually going to sleep when my head hits the pillow.

We can set up a 'Find Colin J a partner' thread if you like. There's plenty of mature Ukrainian women looking for love apparently.

Have you come across Deborah yet. She lives only five miles from you.

Don't get all funny on me PB - I've known you a while. I have come across females riding bicycles locally and I have even talked to them but I don't know any of their names apart from 1 individual whom I don't want to talk to. Funny dat. One for the Irony thread. Hang on...
Ooh err!
