So popped up to work this afternoon for a couple of hours. Saw my boss, our director, some colleagues and others I know. They all were saying how well I looked which was nice. They can't wait to have me back and everyone was lovely. It was really positive and now I'm actually looking forward to returning. Well having worked there for 32.5 years I kinda miss it!

What a coincidence, having just seen this thread! I mentioned Weston-Super-Mare to a friend last night, telling her we as in family went on holiday there in 1971 and 1976. I remember in the 1971 holiday we stayed in a 'posh' hotel that had a huge (as in tv size not the cinema) colour tv 'cinema'. In the 1976 holiday, spent in I think the same hotel, the manager looked and acted like Larry Grayson and we went to Cheddar Gorge on a day trip from the hotel.

Just thought I'd mention it! :okay:

Yep, the detail you can give something that happened 50 odd years ago and I bet you can't remember where you left your keys.

Ahh the hot summer of 76. Not that I remember as I was barely born but sticks in the mind as Dad won the National bowls singles that summer (I may have mentioned that before) filmed live on Grandstand and everything. Go Dad! 🏆
