The way the World is going Midway is starting to look attractive.

Believe it or not some bloke went and hid there at the outbreak of WW2, which turned out to be the worst miscalculation in the history of miscalculations.

If I could magically speak the language, then, France, just about anywhere south and east of Bordeaux.

I used to fancy South West France. Pornice is nice. I like the South eg Frejus but its way too hot in the summer months.
I am too old now and circumstances are so different.

Rural Pennsylvania was very nice, grow your beard and pick up an Amish lass, what's not to like!! 🤣🤣🤣

I have an aunt in rural PA. Prior to retirement she was one of the few outside midwives accepted by the Amish community.
