No hands would be a victory for the kid in me that fell off oh so many times trying and trying and trying. I can more or less cycle one handed but things like unzipping my jacket etc cause me to swerve and wobble in a rather ungainly manner, so I'd like better balance and co-ordination please!

I'm in the "want to bunny hop" camp.

Everyday, I cycle down a road in a public park which has three really irritating speed bumps. A couple of years ago, as I was cycling down, a roadie past me at a fair old pace, "Oops", I though, "He hasn't seen those speed bumps", but as he approached each one he bunny hopped over, and at some speed.

So, that's what I want to be able to do! Every now and again (when there's no one around!), I give it ago, but I just can't seem to get the rear wheel off the ground!

Back-pedal braking on my fixie. I've given up trying - just can't do it. I wouldn't do it all the time - too wasteful of tyre rubber - but I'd like to be able to do it.

i think this is what i'd like too. Calibanzwei can happily cycle along using only his legs, me on the other hand have issues staying upright with my hands just a cm off the bars!
but then i have about as much finesse as a ten tonne hammer (son) i'm all left feet and about as much rhythm as a load of bricks being chucked down the stairs
maybe one day i'll be happily cycling down a main road arms out stretched enjoying the wind but for now its wobbly is as wobbly does when i try and let go.

Oh yes I know that one well
- if I take a corner too fast ... I just end up going wide.

i am happy the way I am. I have all the skills I need: I can ride with no hands, I can filter through the traffic, I am very good at judging distances, gaps, speed, reading the road ( thanks to my job) and have a good sense of balance.
All I really need is a new pair a legs to get up those hills a bit faster!!
