I could cycle no handed as a kid.
I could swoop through S bends at 20mph and control it all by shifting my body weight.

Now as a returning adult, I can't cycle no hands in a straight line.

Hill climbing for me too, though not sure if that rates as a skill or an ability.

Everything else can be avoided, including balancing on two wheels moving or not.

I used to be able to ride no-handed (hands in pockets if it was cold), do bunnyhops, jumps off ramps and big long wheelies on my Grifter. I'd like to be able to do it again, though I've found I can still do little bunnyhops.

It's probably a lack of balls these days, old age self preservation having taken over from youthful recklessness

Going uphill for me as well, i can do it but i am a better descender, this might change when i get a lighter bike i certainly know i am dragging it up hill atm.

Clipped in or on platform pedals? I've been told that one of the advantages of clipping in is being able to lift the back wheel.
Purists will argue that a bunny hop is different to a pedal lift. I can't bunny hop, which is actually a manual, followed immediately by a scoop of the pedals. Clipped in however I can somewhat brutally wrench the front end into the air, then lean forward and lift the back up over an obstacle.............

Descending for me. I'm reasonably good at getting up the hills but a total coward at going back down them again. I seem to have an unreasonable fear of the front wheel tucking as I go around bends. Put me on a straight road and I've hit 45+mph without any fear. Make it a bit 'technical' with a few bends and I'm reduced to crawling (compared to others) speeds.....

Like several on here I'd like to be able to descend, since falling off and breaking my hand I've had 'The Fear' which extends from cornering at speed to descending and other manoeuvres where I don't feel I have enough control. This has to stop, I know I'm better than that so I guess it's a confidence thing.

I'd also like to be able to trackstand better than I do now, some of the lights around here seem to be on a half hour rotation!

Being able to cycle rather than crawl up hill would be brilliant .. preferably without feeling like I'm about to die... and also the courage and skill to corner faster - if I take a corner too fast ... I just end up going wide.

i want to be able to corner like a Moto GP Racer. Making sparks with my pedals along the way. But i would settle for making it up the hill

I'm the exact opposite. Hill climbing is fun, sometimes a challenge don't get me wrong I'm not saying it isn't hard work sometimes. But descending is a nightmare for me on roads I don't know. It's a lack of confidence in/knowledge of the road surface.

When MTBing I have a habit of looking at where I dont want to go and riding into it. So if I'm looking at a bunch of tree roots I'm almost drawn into riding over them.

Re: Hill Climbing, I put some new wheels on my bike this week, and hill climbing has suddenly become a breeze, I've been riding around on dodgy hubs all this time without realising!
