I've been eating the last of my Mars bars from 2004-2005.I'll see you and raise you. A week ago, I finished a packet of cornflour marked Aug 2005. I am still alive (allegedly).
Lol...
I looked after my mate's flat yrs ago.
He said eat whatever you want from the freezer..so I did..
Lamb chops ,they tasted odd but it was Iceland so I finished them..
2 yrs past the sell by..I was in the loo for quite a while ...bastid
Taste nice? You remind me of time 30 years ago, I was decorating a blokes flat in Battersea whilst he went away, he said help yourself to anything in the fridge.
So I took the light bulb.
No, but it was nice and light.Taste nice?
Wow! I hope the end is swift and pain free.
Can I have some of your bikes please?
Joking aside, you will be all right, dried foods last well more than the BB date.
Someone once gave me 4 cans of Albright Beer.
They'd stopped making it at least 10 years before
Know your dates:
Sell by: meaningless. Helps shops with stock control.
Best before: might spoil a bit, go dry or lose it's flavour but is perfectly safe.
Use by: do not eat after this date OR YOU WILL DIE!!!
It's just maltodextrin with some flavourings, salt and a few tiny bits of dried vegetables and plenty of antioxidant, packed in sterile conditons. The worst that can happen is that it tastes a bit odd.
