Just nipped out to check the new gear ratios and rear mech (my old sora, instead of the acera) and gear cable went upto a local roundabout turned round, and that wind hit me.
Good news the gears are shifting better, I though I might need to get a new chain as I have changed the bottom three gears, from an 8 sp cassette (mine is 7sp, yes I used the right spacers, apart from on the 11th gear as this doesn't have a separate one) all seem to work fine, shifts better than the acera ever did ( I was beginning to doubt my abilities) mind it might be the new cable.
