I'm sure I heard on the radio news that the Prime Minister had been briefed on the storm and informed of the likelihood of damage. And southern trains have suspended services until 9 o'clock to give them time to inspect the tracks for the wrong kind of stuff. It all reminds me of the sheep who cried wolf.
