Looks like a great bike but I wouldn't ride it. A terrible colour scheme. My bikes are black, very deep blue, grey or titanium. I wouldn't be seen dead on that Colnago.

Like your clothes and your cars ?

No. My cycle clothing, jerseys or jackets, are solid colour aquamarine, yellow, red, maroon, green, silver, and silver green. My car is silver blue.

I like my bikes to be a plain, understated colour as it's easy to match things to. Nothing worse for me, in terms of how I feel, than turning out in a mish mash of colour.

That's why I wouldn't ride the Colnago.

My friends Champion De La Rue he bought in Germany around early 60s. The cable covering was very popular with us kids and could be bought

in many colours (like the cable covering for your TV, video, sound system cables).
