My mind feels a lot younger than my 56 years, but increasingly my eyes and joints are feeling older than that.

Turned 60 in June, still feel about 50. My hair has gone a bit wispy, nasal hair thinks there's some threat so growing faster than knotweed.

Ten years dropped off my age when I retired. I was 62 then and I still feel around 60 eight years later.

My mum used to work in a day centre for old people. There'd be a group of women in their nineties, then the 'youngsters', none of them a day under 70.

Chronologically, 67 nearly 68.

Currently, still pretty fit and healthy. I work hard at the fitness side of health.

Ongoing chronic conditions - 1 kidney has only 31% function and an enlarged prostate. No sign of having to resort to Viagra yet - which I count as a big Brucie bonus.

Aiming for 85+++

Mental age - about mid 40's albeit with extra doses of realism, cynicism, fatalism and various other ism's, no doubt.
