If you work a lot with perfume you might be unfortunate enough one day to accidentally taste some, it's disgusting. Some of the raw materials are do strong they they are used as 1 percent dilutions in a carrier like DPG. If you knew what you were doing you could cause major disruption at a public event.

We had a faulty drum, which leaked under decompression in a cargo aircraft hold. The crew had to wear oxygen masks as the smell was so strong. Normally the stuff is used at 0.5 percent in liquid soap or shampoo or something.

I used to mix a bit of aftershave and liquid soap into a squirty bottle as it was excellent for removing embrocation from my legs after a race.

Looking at the colour I wonder if the contents are original or a bathroom refill .

How much would I spend on an aftershave? I'd say $15 is about as much as I'd like to spend. I have spent more but generally feel that I didn't necessarily get much benefit from spending the additional dollars.

Never use the stuff. I prefer an electric razor. Much less bother.

My father used an electric razor his entire life. And he always looked like he needed a shave. I love using an old razor from the early 1900's with a a quality shaving cream that I whip up using a brush. It may take me more time than using a cartridge but the quality of the shave is far superior and it gives me some "me time" to start my day. A nice ritual to begin the day before heading down to my second morning ritual of making an amazing couple of cups of coffee. And the ladies love the different scents of my aftershaves. Totally worth the bother.

So far as electric razors are concerned you have to find what kind of shaving head is best for your paticular hair. Get it right and it works perfectly.

Thing is it's not strictly 'after shave' is it as we all know, I have mates with full beards and they wear it.

Lets be men here, its perfume for blokes.

I like the old classics myself that were popular in the 80's when I was first 'out clubbing' (not Seals before the PC lot have a pop).

Stopped using after shave when Henry Cooper stopped advertising Brut 33 ^_^

Unfortunately Brut has been ruined by safety restrictions as it was loaded with synthetic musks, which aren't very good for you.

Long dead I'm afraid judging from the orangey colour.
