  • 1 x Glucosamine for joints
  • 1 x Vitamin D - living in the north I can't produce sufficient naturally
  • 1 x Aspirin - blood thinner
  • 1 x Losartan - blood pressure
  • 1 x Atorvastatin
  • 6 x Lamotrogine for epilepsy (the dose is 75mg twice daily, the tablets are 25mg)
The last four are medical drugs taken as preventative rather than for treatment. It doesn't ever give me cause for concern.

4 X Phenytoin Sodium, 47 years(6th March)
2 X Clonazepam, 43 years

Down from 21/2 dozen a day at the highest, and down 4 from two years ago

I used to take 3 x Phenytoin until I moved out of my parents home (at a guess between 17-22years old) and I weened my self of the stuff.

In all seriousness...

Omeprazole.
Calcium on on docs orders (as a safeguard as omeprazole has been linked to osteoporosis.)
Vitamin D3.
Biotin.

Lanzaraopile
Aspirin
Clopidogrel

Statins 80mg
Diltazepen
Lorsatin
Amitriptyline

Flutiform inhaler
Alvesco inhaler.

The good news I'm mostly fine - major problem is depression which just comes from nowhere - and anxiety which magnifies minor stresses into big deals.

Cycling and Gym really keeps me on track. The day I start to become flabby + rotund will be a major problem for me.

But my new mantra "today I feel ok"

Not to sure?
Having just spent the last couple of hours surfing You Tube about Statins and BPH, l guess it's the realisation that l'm getting old and with that comes the need to take medication.

I can't believe I need to be on so many meds !!!!

I've kicked the booze, mostly stopped meat and processed foods, and get my quota of exercise and sleep in.

My goal is to kick all the meds and wake up one morning looking like a greek god - probably never happen - but that dream gives me focus (.......and body image issues !!!! )
