None. I rarely ride after dark and when I do it's two to the rear and one to the front.

Two front (Exposure Flash and Exposure Maxx D), two rear (Exposure Flare and Smart 1/2 Watt), two on my head (Knog Frog and Exposure Joystick with RedEye micro) and one on my bag / rucksack (Smart 1/2 watt).

None. I only ride in daylight.
My Flash / Flare lights are on flash day and night, unless in very bright sunlight.

Six.

Front...

Two S-Sun SS-L120W for when it's not too dark giving surprising good and even lighting and bright enough to get noticed (bought mine on a trip to the far east - Flying Ball bikes in Hong Kong)

Two Smart Lunar 35 when it is dark and when dodging the bunny rabbits on my evening exercise run

Rear...

One Smart Lunar R1 (flashing)

One Sigma Tailguard (normally set to static)

This also gives me some redundancy in the event of mechanical (light falls off) or electrical failure.

Four at the moment, two front, two rear.

It should be five, but one of my front lights has a knackered bracket that I haven't got round to fixing.

On my fixed gear Carlton, which I ride most over the winter, one B&M Lumotec halogen with standlight on front and a B&M Seculite (sp?) LED on the back, powered by a B&M Dymotec 6 dynamo. Satisfied B&M customer here and no batteries required

I have a magicshine plus 900lm flashing torch on the front and Dinotte 400R on the rear, they are always on.

In winter I'll add another magicshine to the front and use the three "cheaper" rear lights depending on the weather and light conditions.
