For at least a year I have been weighing myself in the bathroom and this morning I weighed in at 90kg, then just for fun I took the scales downstairs and weighed in at only 82kg!

Usually you'd expect increased altitude to result in a lower weight, not a higher one. Inverse square law and all that.

Neither floors are carpeted, although we do have some pretty severe subsidence affecting the upstairs bathroom floor...

I asked the wife about my height according to altitude and she assured me that I'm just as much of an idiot downstairs as upstairs.

my guess is that you have clothes made of iron specialy for your bathroom or you just had a couple of pies in your pocket everytime you entered the bathroom
