you could always try folding the top branch in half to add strength, worked for me

I was just going to say the same thing. The bottom of the star is springy, so I have doubled over the top of the branch and attached the star very firmly.

Tomorrow morning I will see if the Star and the tree are still upright.

I'll tell you what you want to do: bin the star. Then buy a finger puppet animal and stick it on the top of the tree. Christmas has never been the same in the Noodley household since we lost our festive finger puppet lion...I cannot find another one.

I seem to have lost my large Christmas Stocking. Does Santa borrow things, and forget to return them?
