Gonna have to ride the Tarmac, till I get the tyres later in the week..... needed todays visit by the punchure fairy like a hole in the head, just emptied the bank account buying loads of bits for my new build The Venge looks so sad sitting there..... gutted is the word of the day

Mate i do feel for ya cos it was a pain in the ass and trashed the ride out no one like extra expense especiallly after the list of expenses you read out for the new bike

However you then casually drop in that your gonna have to resort to using the bike of my dreams (the tarmac) as a back up!!!!! Sympathy has left the building

fair point ... can't argue with that... Mind you forgot to check the battery on it (it's not been ridden for ages) and ended up with Di2 in limp home mode with only the rear shifting working.
Charging up the battery as we speak so glad its frame mounted battery, would have been a nightmare if it had a in bike charging conversion. Putting a complete bike next to my desk would not have gone down well... lol

Would of thought the size of your bikes mate you could of hid it under your desk does this mean we are going to be treated to a viewing of the tarmac on the next ride or will the venge be back up and running ?

Probably the Tarmac... I have a busy week at work so doubt I will get time to fit tyres this week.
Should have been writing reports instead of playing the PS3 now the deadlines have all caught up on me

I like deadlines. I particularly like the swooshing noise that they make when they wizz past, unfulfilled.

Sounds good well a couple of extra bits on the frame wider bars and probably a bit more air in the tyres and i will have a go on it lol

Oh dear sorry to hear that uve obviously upset someone ! I got hit by the branch in the eye fairy on the way to work this morning ! Not impressed with this wind at all

Still not received my new tyres from wiggle either, and if I keep getting punctures like this I will be on foot by the end of the week.

Did you fix or walk ? Im sure your tyres will be here by the weekend i take it the ones from Saturday were a write off

I fixed the punchure when I got to work but it was a slow wet and unpleasent walk there.
I could use the tyres from the weekend but to be honest I would rather not, we will see what happens

Maybe an excuse to get the new Orange (swear its Red ) beast up and running early to cheer yourself up

The 'tango' bike as swmbo is calling it is staying under wraps till the spring.....This week has not been all bad though, decided the project black has drawn the straw to be the new commuter, there is to much I would want to change if I kept it as a weekend bike.
