I have a roster of 4 (ish) starter words which I use with no pattern whatsoever (just "let's try xxxxx today"), but always go bespoke after that. Getting no letters in line 1 is just as useful as getting a few hits and I was self-imposing hard mode until relatively recently when I discovered you could turn it on in-game!🤦‍♂️
