You're not wrong about that mate.I suppose because he's asked a lot of stuff in the past and people have given a lot of good advice that appears to have not been taken? And CC is full of people just waiting to make sh***y Snyde remarks?
Also remember that superlight wheels have thinner alloy so bear in mind if you are out in all weather's as you will wear out the rims.
Which wheels are you thinking of? Not aware of any which compromise on braking surface.
if you are serious ( I can never tell) check out Vo2 in kent.I was going to pop in and see the guys i bought my bike from during my 50 mile ride tomorrow hoping they can get something in
The Dura Ace C24 has a thinner breaking surface.
I wonder what time you could do on his bikeHey @jamma, I got beat last night in a 13 mile hilly TT by a guy with £1750 worth of zipp's by 4 seconds. I've got a secondhand Planet X 101 on the rear and a superstar 30mm alloy rim on the front, my whole bike including the wheels cost £1000.
I beat him by 34 seconds two weeks ago in a 10 TT.![]()
They both take part in time trials.snorre......zzzz....oop..hang on, I'm snoozing, so I must be loosing...ach, I'm not riding for team GB or SKY, and the wheels on my bike still go round and round, so who gives a feck....seriously folks, it's a fekkin bicycle and you're not Chris Froome....
You really understand sarcasm, don't you....They both take part in time trials.
You must be really bored if that affects you so much.
