Like i've said I really dont care about anyones opinion - you dont have to discuss on here - intelligence or otherwise,...its a no brainer, like you wouldnt have upon you head hitting the ground WITHOUT a helmet ;)

I really did not expect you to answer in a coherent fashion, and I was right

You know your stance is indefensible in aliterate and common sense manner, that is why you have avoided all thepoints raised

Again thank you for your indisputable proof that pedestrians should wear helmets:

.....its a no brainer, like you wouldnt want your head hitting the ground WITHOUT a helmet?

Ore are you one of those who feels that head injuries are acceptable, somehow hurt less, are less traumatic and the "vegetables" are somehow much more able to look after themselves ifthe head injury occurs off a bike.

(Of course I don't expect anything coherent in answer to this either)

But you do care lay. You care enough to continue posting on this thread and if I may be so bold you seem to care that people that don't wear helmets stand, in your opinion, a very good chance of suffering life changing injuries or death.

No, i'm replying to others...Mugshot.

Yes, you can analyse very well lol

If they wanna die then thats their choice.

They can be as smart as they want but if family and friends hear of a crash about them and they say 'where they wearing a helmet' and the family member says 'no, it was their choice': Whats the reaction - if it was me it'd be; 'aahhh thats a shame but you're better with a helmet than without: its TOTALLY PATHETICALLY STUPID !

Just to get this straight, you think pedestrians are only killed when they are crossing the road?
Pretty much yeah.....again

A quick dabble on google reveals

Unsafe pedestrian behavior is a major factor in pedestrian injuries and fatalities. In a recent study of 7,000 pedestrian-vehicle crashes in Florida, researchers discovered that pedestrians were at fault in 80 percent of these incidents.8 Similarly, in a U.K. study, pedestrian behavior accounted for 90 percent of crashes where vehicle struck a pedestrian.9

I make a point - i dont care WTF people think on here.

Whether studies exist to exclamate and claim that the human skull is safer without a helmet....

Lets put it this way i've hit my head on the ground and IT HURT, seriously..whilst i was a child..

So theirfore sense dictated that i wear a helmet = its VERY SIMPLE

And it hurts A LOT LESS - if you want to die - go ahead, i dont give a dam - but i know i'll be here and you WONT :hello:

YOu hit your head as a child...........

Weren't you wearing a Thudguard?

thudguard-crawling-e1385232721518.jpg

OMG how irrepsonsible that was, you and your parents should be ashamed

Surely sense dictated that children wear a helmet = its VERY SIMPLE that aThudguard would have prevented your trauma

With a Thudguard it would have hurt A LOT LESS - if you want your children to die - go ahead, i dont give a dam - but i know children wearing tHudguards will be here and those who don't WONT

Again - irrefutable argument, this time for the Thudguard
!

Cuno - you are a highly offensive individual...

Whats the use of a pedestrian wearing a helmet - that's pathetic.

When you're on a wheeled vehicle - its a different matter.

They way things are going mate, you need a helmet to come on here as you appear to be a danger to yourself never ind anyone else ? ;)

Yours in a coherent manner - you cheeky [insert.swear.word.of.your.choice]

Again i'll make my point;

You're better wearing a helmet than not !

F A C T ;)

If you believe as you have now stated on two occasions that pedestrians are only killed whilst crossing the road and not whilst using the pavement or verge, and you believe that your quote is evidence of this, I suggest you need to hone your Google skills a little.

I agree it's fair enough to go by instinct on what's safer - after all we've evolved to make such judgements - and instinctively a helmet is "bound to help innit" - which used to be my own (instinctive) view. However what is frankly rude as well as ignorant is to call people stupid for changing their view based on evidence of the various statistical surveys.
I couldn't agree more.

Each view is valid, as it is reached independently and through choice. Arguing about data, or lack of is pointless...its like arguing over what my favourite colour should be, based on recorded data.

The choice to wear, or not to...is personal and arrived by whatever means the chooser fancies.

you've said that many times - however there are some stupid people who are more swayed by the statistics that by your pronouncement -

Please explain why this is? Pedestrians suffer head injuries quite often. Why do you suggest only cyclists should wear a helmet? Especially when cycle helmets are only rated for low speed impacts.

Ok, lets say a law comes in stating that Peds. should should wear a helmet - I don't think it'd last, as this is also pathetic.

These subjects are pulled up because they, those that DONT WANT TO WEAR HELMET - and dont we know it ! just can't accept the fact a helmet makes sense, saves your head - from severe injury, is an intelligent move / decision to withold yourself from injury to your head.

Yes, we know helmets are good at low speeds but what about this...

All those who arent in favour of helmet use WATCH THE HEADS HITTING the ground - nice isnt it ;)

The use of these videos is to explain to STUPID people who do not want to wear helmet and not glorify any disrespect to these cyclists

Ah - the head injury as a child might go some way to explaining your lack of literacy and inability to grasp basic concepts and statistics...

Please - tell us you haven't had kids.

'Please - tell us you haven't had kids' - And whats that User - a personal jibe ? cause if it IS

Seriously, I always wear a helmet as I believe I'm better with than without but do yourself a favour and let it go as you're reasoning and posting are not doing yourself any favours.
