No I don't, people just seem to smoke outside and in the pub doorway now !Remember the outcry when they banned smoking in pubs?? Now many have given up smoking and very few still complain about it.
Not everyone, just you and Pedro !Then everyone who wears a helmet is misinformed ?
Not everyone, just you and Pedro !
My point was that the claims you made for the device were very similar to the claims made by helmet manufacturers, so weak as to be meaningless. I'd expect the dragons to laugh you back down the stairs. Mind you don't trip, negotiating spiral stairs is significantly more dangerous than cycling.I am going to Dragons Den with that!!!
No, not at all. There are all kinds of reasons someone might be wearing a helmet. But anyone who believes the risk of cycling in general is so much greater than the risk of walking in general that the former activity should by default be assumed to require a helmet and the latter one not, has not looked at the numbersThen everyone who wears a helmet is misinformed ?
No, but he usually goes to bed at this time!2187724 said:You are giving this up?
Well lets just assume for now that everyone that doesn't wear a helmet wears an "Airhelmet". Sometimes i try to bring some humour to the table. Sometimes it's not funny. Sometimes it is.My point was that the claims you made for the device were very similar to the claims made by helmet manufacturers, so weak as to be meaningless. Yeah, can relate to thatSometimes i try to bring some humour to the table. Sometimes it's not funny. Sometimes it is.
Now that I like! Dammit, man - that's 50+ years of cynicism about homeopathy overturned.... a sort of homeopathic distillation of expensive polystyrene perhaps.
5'11" thanks and you will find it was a joke. Shall i call you a nasty name now and we can get the handbags out? This thread is hardly for the faint hearted. I have taken it as well as given it. Thanks for the input though. Insightful. What an ignorant little man you are...
The magic only works if you bash it on the road in the prescribed manner. And make it reassuringly expensive...Now that I like! Dammit, man - that's 50+ years of cynicism about homeopathy overturned.
You have shown yourself to be old and bitter? Close? You've shown yourself to be a rather ignorant little nerk... how's that for insightful?
Let me guess... you're probably a student at a second-rate university.
You started it, Pedro! People and glass houses I'm afraid. You have shown yourself to be old and bitter? Close?
To your guess. Nop and nop. not very insightful.
Edit: Can't really be bothered by you User if you are going to act like a 5 year old. Life is far to short to be wasted with bitterness. If you continue i'll just ignore you.
