Don’t know Houghton Green very well, I lived in Prestwich and Higher Broughton , lots of Holts boozers around there

Its a small village in the north of Warrington. Nice little area but connected to other areas so not well known outside Warrington.

Sat in a kayak with a couple of bottles of Brewdog, cheese and fake ham sandwich, with about 10 miles of paddling infront of me, on a warm spring day

Sitting looking out to sea or across a lake on a clear late Summer or Autumn evening after an active day, just relaxing and watching the sun set, ideally sipping a bottle of beer.

I used to drink in the Junction, Cheadle Hulme, that was a Holts pub as well and many strange things happened there - I'd need a book to tell them all!
