It's flooded big time again each side of the drain culvert at the St Ives end and also before crossing the bridge the first dip after leaving the park and ride travelling in direction or Cambridge. Quite deep.

Came back last night via the GBW as it was dry , only one section flooded, which you can walk round on the banking, but the solar lights at the edge were brilliant, all the way back, it flet like you were cycling down a runway !!!!

Kev - agree - came back late one night last week and the lights are just fantastic (though it did look like a lit swimming pool at one point!) Good that they have got that right at least - now if only they could raise 3 or 4 sections a couple of metres and tarmac the shortcut to Fenstanton just before the big drain.......................................................

In changing over tyres a few days ago I noticed my tyres are practically shredded. I spent about 1.5 hours on each tyre digging out glass and shell fragments. Glass due to chavs smashing bottles on the path but shell fragments I believe caused by Cambs CC and it's contactor using shell sand all over the path I guess when it is icy.
