Nice picture, but could you shrink future ones down a bit? My broadband is pretty slow so that took about 30 seconds to load!

Ah, it is because it is a PNG file. Saving as a JPG with a reasonable compression setting would make it much smaller without too much loss of quality.

I have just been screenshot-ing images and dropping them into CC, I had presumed they were jpg, I wonder if I can default my screenshot to jpg?
how does this one work ? I saved it as a jpg then uploaded it, its 258kb instead of 1625kb (a saving of 85%)

My internet speed is definitely getting worse though... It used to be 16 Mb/s, then it dropped to about 7, and tonight it seems to be a maximum of 5.5! I will get in touch with Plusnet tomorrow and ask what is going on.

There is a delay getting fibre bb to this part of town. They reckon that if should be available by the end of next year!

Hmm... Something seems to be up with the forum speed! I am getting slow downloads on other threads but Amazon and Netflix are okay.

this is about as good as mine ever gets - matches my pace on the bike (8x faster going downhill)

I have found CC sometimes very slow to upload, sometimes even failing with parsing issues

but never the less, for environmental reasons I shouldn't have been uploading PNG when JPG is as good.

I'm about a mile outside a small village I'd never cycled through before. This route was brought on by the need to bag a rare letter in an ABC challenge.

I though the land looked familiar. I've never actually been on that road, but have visited the area quite often, normally driving in and out on the A72, when coming to visit my daughter, who lives in Cardrona now (used to live in Peebles).

Yes, I literally wrote 'brought on' in my clue.

I was returning home from a trip to Quothquan, nearest place to Celine Towers starting with Q.
