Damn you're good.

I don't think it's Johnson there but I know Truss visited last year and won support from the local Tory party. Christ knows how.

just for comparison, this is a photo I took on my mini-tour in 2022 from the end of the road there - you can see from the sands and the coast outline why it looked familiar

I am a bit busy rejigging the layout of my room in preparation for the arrival tomorrow of a bigger TV set. I will try to come up with a mystery road later this evening once I actually have somewhere to sit with my laptop! :okay:

Anglezarke reservoir

A murder victim was dumped there weren't they, or was you clue alluding to something else.
Well done.

I didn't know about the murder victim! I was referring to the 2002 Commonwealth Games road races. The reservoir road was on the circuit.

I went to watch the women's race with a pal. We were standing by the nasty lefthand bend at the foot of the fast descent of nearby Sheep House Lane as the riders did their last lap. Young Welsh rider Nicole dramatically overCooke-d it and had a close encounter of the dry stone wall kind! She was gapped by the other lead riders but managed to chase back on and win the race! :bravo:

Over to you!
