I like the look of Redstone Rigg!!!
It's nice looking down ...
Only a couple of huff-and-puff bits to it, really.

@Scoosh(ie) only teeny weeny bumps
... speaking of rides ...
A bit short notice ... IF I were to head out east (or south) from Edinburgh for a wee ride at some point this weekend, would anybody fancy coming along?
I'll post again nearer the time, when I'm a bit more sure what's happening (have a potential conflict that needs sorting first)

Only about 80km from you ... hardly worth the ride ...
My normal ride is only 7 miles....
Can we not have an open on going ride nomination with voting? Then work through the most popular on an alternate regional basis.....think i might have just confused myself
I had much the same idea as you. We've got a ton of potentially great routes already lined up - the main issue is simply resolving "who wants to do which route, when?"
If I wasn't so busy with work I'd take a few hours out to write a simple route repository and voting system.
I haven't done Redstone Rigg so if somebody posts that up i'll be interested in doing that route
Just started to check out the 'Informal Rides' section last week. Very keen to get a few weekend rides under my belt as I have done nothing except commuting miles all this year. In order of preference, rides in Midlothian/East Lothian/Borders or West Lothian would intrest me (and possibly the other half). Will keep an eye on this forum and hope to meet some of you very soon.
My only reluctance about posting a ride is if I am not sure of the route and no-one else is who turns up I would feel responsible for everyone - might wait and have a look at the Langholm ride first before committing.
hehehe: you got to do the route first yourselfYeah that's my problem too, only ride i really knew where i was going was the fife ride
