Can you bring a video camera, please? The safety-talk needs to be captured for posterity, and Andy's being sent ahead...

I can do that.

I have put the feelers out for a camcorder to borrow. I could video "The Talk" and then nip around to get some shots of them leaving London if needed.

I'm not so sure. There are image rights to consider.

If you're going to be there, would you help with the signing in?

There are no issues photographing or videoing people in a public place for non-commercial purposes.

registration closes at midday today, and I'd not be that surprised to see it rise another ten or so.

Every on of the 'sponsored' riders that I've spoken to has raised sponsorship in to the hundreds, and is intent on getting more.

Where's that damn cat? He's got to put in a bit of an effort for this one.

That's what I thought. It seems Dellzeqq has come over all shy. :shy:

He's gleaning inspiration from a DVD of Sir Larry in Henry V, as we speak!

I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit; and, upon this charge
Cry 'God for Simon! England and Saint Claud!

Anybody know if there's anyone from the Midlands doing this ? Just trying to sort out the travel logistics.

Yes, me! I'll probably be catching the 20:10-ish train from Moor Street to Marylebone. Chiltern are much less hassle than Virgin, who insist on bike reservations. Chiltern don't, so I can be much more flexible with my plans.
