Silver and I will be heading for Pizza Express about 10 pm, so see some of you there. The fidgets are ordered @vernon , and I'll be evaluating all the hedgerow liqueurs to see which will best wash down a pork pie. My money's on the damson gin .

Not so simple, I am in Cardiff for work and, with my booked train back, would struggle to get back home, collect bike and kit in time to make a train that would get me there in time.

That makes me quadruply annoyed to be missing it. This ride is special, in a way none of the London rides are. May have to organise an unofficial version if there isn't enough momentum for a proper one.

(On the good news front: I'm finally managing solid food. Have lost several kilos in as many days. (That'll make me faster up hills, right?))

I fail to understand
