Going to cycle up to a lighthouse everyone talks about.

Then breakfast and general lazy, unless my knackered toe behaves - then I will test it for a gentle run in the mountains.

Irish bar has live music on later, seems a plan

After coffee & muesli, off by bike, train & car to the Ardèche for a grand day out, I hope. Sun's out for the first time in three days, so should be good. Must remember to get some bread & milk at some stage, as am at crisis point on both fronts: none left. PPP.

Forecasting to be fair bleepin' it down for rest of the day. Is what these 'public holidays' do for ye.

So is today the day when I finally get around to sorting to out that garage jungle? Tbd. More 100% pure Colombian first.

Decent sleep after yesterday's communt and the G&T recovery drinks afterwards.

Having a relaxed start with a spot of coffee. Out with the hounds, quick tip trip, grab some supplies for the weekend and maybe a quick weights session later. Might stick one last watch on Fleabay if I get time.

Morning
Just finishing second coffee and next will be a haircut and beard trip at the hands of Mrs W. Not sure what later will, might need to do some packing as we are heading to Lake District tomorrow.

".....in the mangrove swamps where the python romps"

That would in fact be a Burmese Python as they are most likely to be found in mangroves, being semi aquatic.

Chill day. Breakfast early then a short snooze. Up and about doing some more model boat bashing. Carefully trying to bend, curve, glue, pin, clamp a 1.5mm x 3mm strip of wood along the length of the hull without it snapping or splitting from the pins pushed through. Very, very, very FTFTBBW!
Might move on to 1/12 scale Alfa in a bit and get thoroughly annoyed with SuperGlue again..

Reading this makes me think that neither of these activites result in a chill day.

Pic of current works...
