Exceptional looking bikes and great attention to detail. Well done.
It's often said about "things" from 1964......just saying ..........The 1964 bike may well just be the best looking bike I've ever seen.
Why particularly those brands?Yes I collect Carlton cycles and also Sun too.
Carlton was my first real racing bicycle, I sort of started collecting Worksop built Suns then, and this meant I collected a few Birmingham built Suns too, prior to the Raleigh take over. Why particularly those brands?
Makes my teeth itch to see ads with mis-spellings.Lovely! They bring this to life, from a 1950s copy of Cycling I was reading last night:

There is a well known Edwardian book on steam launch engines, about halfway through the author changes from one spelling to the other.Makes my teeth itch to see ads with mis-spellings.
No one in any sort of engineering firm should mis-spell 'gauge'...

Very classy colour scheme on that - and nicely finished off with the details.A few miles today on the 1971 International. It only appeared for one year.
