They're my commuting tyre - long-lasting and decent enough,
@DCLane what do you use for your audax rides?

One of my local Asdas still had a few of these yesterday for £9. Naturally I have one - I'm tempted to get more but there's a limit to how many you can make use of. It weighs about 250g:

There's also a 5000mAh version for £6.

Buyer beware! We all like a bargain, but you've gotta ask how safe are these to use? I've only ever used copied cleats before, they were Look copies & about half price of the genuine ones, possibly from Wiggle or Evans? After a couple of rides I was struggling to clip in & out & had a very near clipless moment at a junction as I couldn't unclip, luckily a mate stopped alongside me, so I held onto him whilst I sorted myself out  Only use genuine cleats now & certainly wouldn't buy these at a pound, but on the other hand, they may be fine

I use the cheap Chinese stuff when winter commuting - about £3 a pair of cleats delivered. They're OK but last about half as long as normal Shimano ones. The yellow bits aren't as rubbery as Shimano's.

So your not buying them for your new pedals then?:laugh::laugh:
