I love that Tesco advert. When you check the specifications to find out more details, it says:

Front brakes: yes
Rear brakes: yes

But it does give the weight as a generous 14.9kg - which means the bike must be a real bargain as it's less than £5 a kilo...

Well, days after the order, just had an email from a woman at cycle surgery to say that they can't send me my much anticipated snood at all. Sexual discrimination i call it. Still, they have sent me a £10 discount code as recompense. Will spend on suitably macho clothing.

I got the same message, except that the metrosexual snood is still coming but the socks aren't. Not sure if its a good thing or not. £10 voucher for my trouble did sweeten the deal though.

Yes, jolly decent of them. Think i'll maybe pop in one of their shops for an 8 speed chain, a tad overpriced at £12 but will effectively only be £2. Still think they need to sort their web system though - this ordering of stuff that isn't there must have affected a lot of folk beyond cyclechat.

Intrigued. I think the sizing system may be different for womens socks, but surely they/womens feet don't differ in any material way? Cycling in winter of course, the socks would be invisible.

Any bargains on Winter MTB boots ? Looking at getting some Shimano MW7's as I know their shoe sizing and have had to go for 44's in Shimano and Lake (Spesh 43) Prices are around £130.
