It's the way it is stored.
I'd prefer it to be detachable or be zipped into make a collar.
I have just ordered another after I marked the other one all up when I fell off. The jacket material held up and hasn't gone through at all though

Fiver plus postage. They don't have a good rep in terms of fairy visits, but yes a fiver is cheap, more so I guess as the Rubino is no longer available for £7

Lots of offers at Planet X, including Vittoria Zaffiro II's for a fiver apiece:

Educate me dave.

What's a "training tyre"?

Edit -planet x regularly do lots of discounts on vittoria tyres. Anyone care to educate me on their various merits/which are the really good bargains?

And happy new year one and all, particularly on this thread. Will be doing a hilly circuit tomorrow in a wondrous jacket sourced through here.

I could be wrong, but I think it's just referring to a more resilient tyre to put on your bike when the roads are covered in all the cr*p that they get covered in at this time of the year as opposed to a lightweight "speedier" summer tyre. That said, my original Road Comp came with Zaffiros on as standard (albeit in black, not white) and I did a good few thousand miles on them with no problem at all. They rolled nicely, gripped well and I didn't have a single visit from the p*nct*re fairy in all that time, running them at 110psi. I only replaced them as a precaution as they'd started to cut up a bit on all the jagged flinty stones that were getting washed into the roads last winter.

Put it this way, if I was in the market for a bargain set of tyres I'd buy some of these no problem - even in white! ^_^ But tyres are subjective like a lot of stuff on bikes - what I rate other people will hate and tell tales of woe about.
