I couldn't pass up spesh bg gel mitts at a fiver, £20 off. Plus a bobble hat, snood @Blue Hills i thought you are a bloke, that's not going to be tight like a buff ;)

Better maybe:

Has anyone got any experience of this cutter?

I know that you have to be careful with bike cable cutters - nowt so useless/false bargain as a poor cutter.

I have a Park one but need another for when away.

I have this and it does the job perfectly well - inners, outers and both together, however I have nothing else to compare it to.

ah, educate me vickster, what have I ordered for gawd's sake :smile: - i know they called it a snood (and have a vague idea what that is) but assumed it was a posh name for a buff - still it's merino so may have some sort of camping/bivving use.

At least I wasn't tempted by the hat - I'm not wearing owt with a bobble :smile:

yes I'm a bloke - not sure how you know.

I also got some more spesh airstream mits - an economy model often on sale but not bad - and I once paid £20 for some premium spesh ones which were too clever and very soon fell apart - tho that may have been due to non specified use which was definitely male.

It's a woman's scarf...it was under the woman's sale. Just get in touch with your feminine side :smile:

Think I'm a bit old to pass for a messenger and I find those things awkward - also didn't mention any sort of added securing strap so I passed but went for one of the same brand's curious looking round/barrel bags - very little info, two with different names look the same, and no doubt at the original price was vastly overpriced - but may have some sort of touring application - stinky washing bag? . Also couldn't resist what maybe is/was one of the world's more expensive buffs:

thanks for the lead OP and other folks.

I've been looking for a messenger bag that I can use for my camera gear, don't really want a camera bag as it screams out what the contents are inside so wanted something more stealthy, for a fiver I'm prepared to take the chance!

Aw naw, I bought 2.:shy::cry::laugh:
:smile: what did you think it was?

What the hell, I'll be doing some serious flouncing in the New Year, or trying not to come to an Isidora Duncan end on my speeding Ridgeback.

Either that\those or I've already got the (non cycling) gf's present sorted for next year.
